If you've been in the UK over the last couple of weeks you won't have been able to steer clear of the news about a well known TV presenter having behaved inappropriately... If you don't know, he responded by writing off the complaints against him as having come from 'middle class women of a certain age'... Am I missing something? Are middle aged women no longer relevant? I'm one, and I certainly like to think I'm as relevant now as I ever was, if not more so having gathered a fair but of life experience over the years... Anyway, he's the reason for this mug. My way of fighting back, and just in time for Christmas - do you know anyone who'd find it satisfying having a cuppa from one of these? I've also put the design on tote bags, so you can say it while you shop too.
On that note, Christmas is creeping up on us really quickly now, and I would recommend getting orders in nice and early just to make sure you're not caught up in any delivery backlogs. I know here in the UK our delivery companies have a big job at this time of year so just to ease their burden (as well as avoiding a last minute panic of your own of course!) it's worth being ahead of the game. That said, if you hold off for another day or two there'll be a couple of new designs coming up. I'm quite excited about them, they're in a different style and I like them! Not long to wait now, I just need to get the seal of approval from the friend who requested them - proof that I really do try to accommodate requests. If you're a regular reader you'll know I'm always saying I'll do it if I can, and these new ones originated that way and may well become part of a bigger range. They're in the style of old fashioned tattoos, which I think may not sound great? But they look good and that's what counts, I'd definitely wear them myself and probably will be doing just that in the very near future.
It wasn't only mugs this week, something else I'll probably be wearing soon is the new range 'Love Must Be Louder,' which as you'll see if you check out the collections is denouncing hate. There's far too much of it in the world at the moment so that one resonates, with me at least, and I hope you like it too. It's available on all the usual clothes and tote bags, and I'll sort out mugs and phone cases too over the next couple of days. More bees too...
I'll leave it there for now - wishing you a wonderful week ahead.
