Wednesday again - sorry if you were expecting a new post last week. Life got in the way and I just didn't fit it in, but here we are again, back in business. There's a bit more to say this week too thankfully. As you'll know if you've been reading these updates I gave myself permission to take the foot off the gas temporarily and I'm happy to say it's done me good - I'm revitalised and motivated to get started again. There's never quite as much time as I'd like though and this week so far has been mainly spent on other activities - I'm sitting down to type on the back of three very informative sessions at my local library, and then a business fair which was hosted at the racecourse. It's the first time I've been there despite living in Brighton for nearly sixteen years - not being a fan of horse racing I've had no cause until now - but I do like exploring new places and it was good to get to a different part of town, and enjoy the surroundings. It's set on a hill with plenty of greenery to soak up and the sun made a rare appearance too, which always seems to make the grass a much richer green. All very nice, and I had some good chats too, so a worthwhile interlude. The sessions at the library have also proved to be time very well spent, with an excellent session today on how to conduct your own market research, and a really interesting one about cyber security. I have to say that one scared me a little though, there are some very unsavoury characters out there as I think we all know, but they're going to much greater lengths than I realised to trick us. I'm glad I've learned more about how to thwart them!

In amongst all of that I did manage to find the time to get a new t-shirt done, and I've chosen another quote from Rumi which I just felt drawn to. He holds a lot of appeal to me and I know that's the case for lots of people - this one says 'Do not feel lonely, the whole universe is inside you.' I find his words are often thought provoking, at other times they offer comfort - this one reminds me that we are all connected, as people and as part of something much bigger. We may not understand all of the universe's mysteries but for me at least it's enough to feel that we're not alone. I've chosen the women's fit t-shirt for the picture but it's available in a men's fit and a unisex version too, and you'll also find it on long-sleeved tops, sweatshirts, hoodies and tote bags. I hope you find something you like, but if you're struggling please let me know either in the comments or my e-mail. You can reach me at caroline@carissimastudio.com. Do feel free to reach out with any comments, questions or suggestions you might have. That's it for now, have a great week - I'll be back next Wednesday.
